We travel to the Caribbean.
Mustique was the island chosen by Ana and Fernando to celebrate an intimate, simple and elegant wedding. The colors chosen for the entire event were white and green.
The ceremony took place in a bamboo church, simple and typical of the Caribbean island. Both the exterior and the interior were decorated with tropical leaves and white flowers in the area. A nice arch framed the entrance to the church.
The banquet and then the party were held in one of the villas on the island that the couple rented. The banquet took place on the terrace, the free space that overlooked the sea while they had dinner. Two covered imperial tables were placed for a 100% linen tablecloth that were specially made for the occasion.
The menu were covered by our collection of Florence antique white plate, Modena bread plate, linen napkins and matt gold cutlery. A wreath of leaves from the area was placed along the table, with touches of white flowers. Ana’s mother, Isabel Preysler, wrote all the names of the guests.
This wedding was a challenge and we cannot be happier with the result. We thank Ana and Fernando for their trust in us, it was a pleasure to work with you!
We leave you some photos.

A magical ceremony in the forest
This is how our couple Y & A imagined their wedding day. And to make it happen they chose to do it in a catalan “masia” with amazing views to the forest that surrounded it. A decoration that highlighted the natural, the simplicity, homely of the place, without forgetting the details that make the difference towards elegance.
The ceremony was officiated in the forest surrounding the farmhouse, the altar was formed by large antique wooden doors decorated with a lot of foliage and white roses. The guests waited sitting on wooden benches decorated with cushions and green leaves.
The banquet took place in the courtyard of the house, three square wooden tables with a large centerpieces of leaves and white flowers. Following the guidelines of the decoration, we picked elements of wood, 100% linen, old pieces … We could not miss our chargerplates of the Florencia collection of wood, Módena dinnerware, copper cutlery and a combination of Rosaline and Provencal glassware.
At the request of the couple, the guests had to follow some guidelines for dresscode. Men white linen shirt, beige pants and brown shoes, a very casual look. Women wore long, mauve and with headdresses of leaves.
Elegance is not contrary with rustic, judge yourselves.

Elegance & informality for a summer wedding
These two words were the key to the design this summer wedding. L & H chose a town house where they could celebrate the ceremony, the banquet, the party and the stay of their relatives. An intimate, international wedding with very fun people that wanted to have fun!
The bride wanted a delicate and elegant wedding, she opted for a color palette consisting of roses, coral, and copper and off white, protagonists in many elements of the wedding. The flowers, the candy table, the tableware… followed the defined colors. The design of the table was very simple but nice, the chosen composition was our Módena chargerplate in ivory color, matte copper cutlery, Rosaline glassware, napkins and tablecloths in pale pink. We didn’t forget the groom, very friendly and enthusiastic. His wishes were also taken into account, live music throughout the evening, a bartender who prepared the best cocktail and an elegant but informal party.
This is how this magnificent wedding happened, we leave you a short summary of pictures.

A novel wedding
It’s how we would define the E & V engagement. They were inspired by the story of a painter who fell in love with his muse at the end of the 19th century. The place where the banquet and the ceremony was held helped to immerse themselves in the story they wanted to tell. The exterior of the building reminded you of a castle and its interior of the early twentieth century was perfect. His great pictures of ancestors, the enormous chimneys of each room, mouldings on the ceilings…
The couple opted for a cheerful color palette, different shades of roses, mauves, lavender with a hint of fuchsia. The decoration of the whole event transported you to the story of the painter and his muse.
The ceremony took place in the gardens, a large floral arch in defined tones and wrought iron chairs. Then we proceeded with the aperitif that was accompanied by a pianist and a singer.
The banquet was held in one of the indoor rooms, round tables covered with lace tablecloths. The chairs chosen were the tiffany model in golden color. In the centre of all the tables there was a floral decoration next to a golden candelabra. For this wedding we chose the pink and golden Florence chargerplate, which combined with our Elba glassware and golden cutlery. The napkins were made especially for this wedding.
Here we leave you some photos of this dreamy couple.

The legend of Quinta das Lagrimas
One of the most beautiful love stories ever told took place in the small city of Coimbra, Portugal.
The protagonists were Prince Pedro, a Portuguese man that lived during the 14th century, and a Spanish girl, Inés de Castro. They loved a lot each other but as many love tragedies, their most beloved ones didn’t want them to be together. The legend says that here Inés cried for last time while being pierced by the daggers of the killers sent by King Afonso, Pedro’s father. Her blood still colors the stone-bed of the fountain that was born of her tears – the tears that gave the name to the romantic estate where this wedding inspiration shoot took place: Quinta das Lagrimas. When Pedro became king he crowned Inês as Queen of Portugal, post-mortem. He made everyone on court to kiss her dying corpse. Afterwards, he revenged her killing the soldiers of his father that stole the life of his love.
Dream Wedding Europe explain a new story about the first love, but this time with a happy ending. An editorial that is sweet, elegant, with history but modern.
