For this post we rely on the words of Scent of Orchid in the Style Me Pretty post that we reproduce below.
“The general design and inspiration for this session began with the rustic elegance provided by La Baronia and the surroundings of Barcelona, a typical Spanish style. When the incredible photographers The Komans asked me to join them in Spain for an editorial, instantly I fell in love with the architecture and view of La Baronia and I proposed it to them.
We think that the best option for the session would be to have a minimalist but lush floral design. I wanted everything in this session to represent the love story of Sandra and Mario.
For the design of the ceremony and the reception, I wanted both spaces to be very simple, letting the couple attracted all the attention. For the ceremony, Liz de Siloh Floral designed a beautiful hanging structure, under which the couple exchanged their vows. For the reception table, I designed a neutral and soft table with golden details, to allow the beautiful centrepiece to be the focus of the table. Elegant chairs and table textiles complemented the impeccable tabletop rentals of Canigueral. Claudia and Laura de Canigueral provided me with all their beauties, allowing me to choose between sophisticated lace dishes, vintage glassware and vintage gold cutlery among their sophisticated collections. Each place was adorned with an elegant menu and calligraphy cards. The celebration ended with a delicious Lolita Bakery cake and a last romantic dance at sunset on the panoramic terrace. ”
Inspiration for a wedding in the city.
Barcelona, Catalonia is full of modernist buildings. We are fortunate to have buildings with great architecture and the fortune to enjoy them, you can visit many of them. The Casa Coll i Regas building is one of these buildings, which we can use for an intimate evening. We wanted to propose an urban wedding, current, in a building with character and tell a story and what better option than a modernist building in Barcelona.
We are inspired by the basis of the modernist movement, nature and the artisanal. We use the off white and the starlight blue to decorate the table, Modena ivory tableware with blue chargerplate and matt copper cutlery. For the stationery we chose a handmade cotton paper, with delicate flower design and calligraphy in starlight blue color.
Inmaculada Garcia’s dress was ideal for this editorial. It had that touch of the late nineteenth century, with floral and fringe details, with a very elegant overture on the back.
And the cake, a work of art, we can’t be happier with the work Lolita Bakery did, judge for yourself.

It was the month and place that L&J chose to marry, the magic happened on a country side property where one connects with the surrounding landscape.
For L&J wedding we worked with a palette of soft colors, off white, nude, petal pink … and a touch of cherry barbados. We are great defenders that getting married in a masia (typical Catalan house) does not mean rustic style. In this project we gave a more avant-garde atmosphere, we incorporated furniture with light lines, with metallic and lacquered finishes. In the floral part we also follow the same path to mix the pampas somehow, rustic, strong element with delicate and simple orchids.
The ceremony, the florist made us a corridor with flowers and a round golden arch decorated with delicate flowers such as orchids. Wooden benches with linen cushions of different soft colors.
The appetizer, white color predominated in furniture and table linen, to give a little strength we placed crosback chairs in wood color. Golden metallic centers with roses and orchids gave the point of color and elegance.
The banquet happened under a transparent tent, with a ceiling lit by hundreds of small light bulbs and elegant curtains. Wooden tables combined with metal chairs in gold color, crystal centers for flowers and chandeliers of different sizes straight lines. Our Modena plates in ivory color next to the Poland glassware and white linen napkins.
In the stationery and dresses of the bridesmaids we integrate the color barbados cherry, a color that came inspired by the facade of the house.
Here we leave you our photographic summary.
Sun, spring… Are we going to Mallorca?
Yes, we accept the proposal to organize a photo session in Mallorca. We are grateful for this opportunity, to be able to return to this island so dear.
For this project we are inspired by flowers. I wanted a spring exhibition and these were present in the dresses as all the decoration and details. This whole garden took place in the luxurious hotel Castell de Son Claret, a space with an elegant and intimate atmosphere.
We chose two dresses by Santos Costura for the bride. The first look, a simple cut dress made with a fabric devoured with flowers. For the second look, a sexier dress, back neckline, transparencies and overlapping flowers, ideal for the party. Classic and sophisticated shoes with that slight shine. On this occasion we opted for a classic bouquet, both in shape and flower, the rose.
Long table that we like so much, accompanied by classic, elegant and comfortable chairs. Neutral colors, pink and green, our Modena crockery, with the Florence gold / green charger plate and our new collection of Versailles cutlery in matt gold. Three floral centers, which bring life and joy to our spring. The stationery also brims with freshness, flowers painted in watercolor and handwritten calligraphy, cannot be more elegant.
And our first mini cake collection. It was fun to imagine and design with Redulce, we cannot be happier with the result, another reflection of our vision of spring in Mallorca.

French Riviera, France
It was one of the destinations we visited the most last year, we love it! There are many beautiful places! Today’s wedding was the last we worked last year in that area of France.
H & S live in the UK, but decided to say “yes” in a spectacular house on the Cote d’Azur. Accompanied by family and friends, they created a special atmosphere in the garden of the house. The predominant colour in the decoration was white with touches of green and many candles that always give an elegant air when the night comes.
A perfect combination of long tables and round tables, with large candelabras and white and green flowers. White linen / cotton tablecloths and napkins, with Florence antique white chargerplate, gold trimmed cups and gold cutlery.
A great night that ended with a party around the pool.
