For this post we rely on the words of Scent of Orchid in the Style Me Pretty post that we reproduce below.
“The general design and inspiration for this session began with the rustic elegance provided by La Baronia and the surroundings of Barcelona, a typical Spanish style. When the incredible photographers The Komans asked me to join them in Spain for an editorial, instantly I fell in love with the architecture and view of La Baronia and I proposed it to them.
We think that the best option for the session would be to have a minimalist but lush floral design. I wanted everything in this session to represent the love story of Sandra and Mario.
For the design of the ceremony and the reception, I wanted both spaces to be very simple, letting the couple attracted all the attention. For the ceremony, Liz de Siloh Floral designed a beautiful hanging structure, under which the couple exchanged their vows. For the reception table, I designed a neutral and soft table with golden details, to allow the beautiful centrepiece to be the focus of the table. Elegant chairs and table textiles complemented the impeccable tabletop rentals of Canigueral. Claudia and Laura de Canigueral provided me with all their beauties, allowing me to choose between sophisticated lace dishes, vintage glassware and vintage gold cutlery among their sophisticated collections. Each place was adorned with an elegant menu and calligraphy cards. The celebration ended with a delicious Lolita Bakery cake and a last romantic dance at sunset on the panoramic terrace. ”
Inspiration for a wedding in the city.
Barcelona, Catalonia is full of modernist buildings. We are fortunate to have buildings with great architecture and the fortune to enjoy them, you can visit many of them. The Casa Coll i Regas building is one of these buildings, which we can use for an intimate evening. We wanted to propose an urban wedding, current, in a building with character and tell a story and what better option than a modernist building in Barcelona.
We are inspired by the basis of the modernist movement, nature and the artisanal. We use the off white and the starlight blue to decorate the table, Modena ivory tableware with blue chargerplate and matt copper cutlery. For the stationery we chose a handmade cotton paper, with delicate flower design and calligraphy in starlight blue color.
Inmaculada Garcia’s dress was ideal for this editorial. It had that touch of the late nineteenth century, with floral and fringe details, with a very elegant overture on the back.
And the cake, a work of art, we can’t be happier with the work Lolita Bakery did, judge for yourself.

Weddings with love titled the shooting like this and they described it as follows:
“Bravos staged love and his passions.
Set in a magical and ancient andalusian farmhouse “cortijo” located in the heart of Andalusia. An authentic venue that tells us about our past and our present.
Love is light and shadow. The main theme of tangos, burlerias and soleares, a complex love inspired by flamenco roots, an honest love, a transcendental love that hurts and heals. A love more passionate than rational, full of mystery and seduction. ”

A world of fantasy
This is what is portrayed in the last workshop organized by Greg Finck, one of the best photographers of the wedding world. We were fortunate to work under the direction of Branco Prata, for us it was an honor since we are great followers of their work. The theme of Alice in Wonderland allowed to get the best of each provider and the result was spectacular.
We hope you like it as much as we do.

The title of the shooting means “made with harmony”. The sessión was inspired in Japan. Traditions and trends… all is mixed with exquisiteness.
Our table design mixes wood and white iron chairs. The centrepiece is formed by a vine trunk and a delicate white orchid flower. The balck crystal charger is combined with our Grenoble dinnerware. Elegance is provided by the gold mate cutlery and along with the Elba glassware. Delicacy is present with the table runner and the napkins 100% linen.
We hope you can use some of this oriental ideas for your future event.
